Sustainable, environmental design is our responsibility to the future, but it also makes good
sense. In public and commercial landscapes that bear a responsibility to teach by example,
the community sees what is possible and successful.
Saarinen Landscape Architecture (formerly Saarinen Associates Landscape Architects) has been
involved in a wide range of planning and landscape architectural projects, such as the restoration
and renovation of downtown Lewiston, Maine, the master plan for Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge
in Arvada, Colorado, the planning, design and project management of Foothills Art Center in
Golden, Colorado and the masterplan for Lowell Whiteman School in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
